For the past 5 years, I've been producing and recording not only my own compositions, but Rock Bands, Vocal
Groups, Solo Performers, and Hip-Hop artists......Chances are, I've done something which could apply to YOU!!! As an
experienced session musician proficient in all forms of Percussion(Drum Set, Latin/Afro-Cuban percussion, Vibes, Marimba)Piano(specializing
in Jazz and Blues) and Bass Guitar, I can create a custom music bed for whatever style of music you want to create, whether
you're an experienced arranger or just want something to lay our vocals down to. Here are some of my latest projects:
02/04/2005: Recorded Duna Hill LIVE at the legendary CBGB in New York City. The band LOVED the recording,
and everyone who hears it marvels that it was recorded in that shithole of a club!
01/30/2005: I obtained an apprenticeship at the prestigious 35th Street Studios, here in Chicago. Jerry
Dornbusch is the Head Engineer, and has taught me ALOT of great things. Gerry Johnson(of A440 Music Group) has also
given me insight into my own music, and my recordings.
11/01/2004---05/01/2005: Worked with Chicago Alternative Rock Group "Duna Hill" to complete pre-production
for their upcoming EP, which will be recorded at Gravity Studios with my assistance
03/15/2004---09/01/2004: Recorded Chicago Punk-Rock band: "Run Chevy Run"'s 3-song Demo in numerous sessions(with
varying delays due to internecine squabbles) and succesfully attracted Label attention for them with the album
12/15/2003---01/17/2004: Undertook and completed the "Beauty" series of 2 songs. Written, arranged and
performed by Jimmy Lane(me:-) and recorded at jKL Productions
12/13-26/2003: Recorded the Punk Rock group "Down In Front"'s newest single: "Chicago" here at jKL Productions in
about 8 hours of recording and approx. 25 hours of extensive editing/mixing/mastering***at the bottom is a clip of "Chicago"***
10/14/2003: Composed and Produced "Life", a New Metal tune for AcidPlanet.com, generating a buzz in that web-based community.
06/27/2003: Composed and Produced "Tiny" my first all digital New Metal song that I'd ever created in
Cubase SX....I posted this to AP and recieved quite a bit of positive feedback on the stregnth of my composition and production.
05/09/2003: I undertook the project to compose, record, and produce the "theme song" of Catalyst Multimedia
Productions' coporate website: "Destination" was a hit both within Catalyst AND to all the visitors of the
site. Unfortunatly, Catalyst shut down early this year, but the song is posted HERE....
